A wonderful celebration!

On 27 May the school celebrated Trinity Day and gave glory to God for his plan for our school.

It was a terrific day and highly successful. The students, dressed in Trinity House colours and Junior School students dressed as Minions, enjoyed a variety of events. Particularly pleasing were the large numbers of students who volunteered to serve in visiting nursing home, making cards for sick people, leading students in afternoon activities, cleaning up rubbish from the local environment and cleaning up a garden of a family in need. I was also delighted the day raised a good deal of money for various worthwhile charities.

Thank you for all your support of the day and particular thanks must go to everyone who assisted in any way, including staff, student leaders, student volunteers, parent assistants and anyone who provided any support for the day. It was enormously appreciated.

The following amounts were raised for various charities:

  • Junior School Kids Matter Action Team (KAT) BBQ - $ 535 Sponsor child and Esther’s Voice
  • Bindango - $ 265 World Vision
  • Namadgi - $ 385 Red Cross
  • Murrumbidgee - $ 410 Auto Immune Research Centre
  • Brindabella - $ 610 Beyond Blue
