Orientation Day

2018 Orientation Day for the Trinity Christian School Early Learning Centre was held last Friday 12 January.

Around 30 children and their families were warmly welcomed into the Trinity community, by Principal Ian Hewitt, new ELC Director Katrina Dickson Robb, the preschool teachers, educators and staff.

Mr Hewitt spoke with families about Trinity’s strong commitment to Christian education, parent partnerships and the desire for a long-term relationship with each new family. He also said that in partnership with parents we look forward to growing loving hearts, enquiring minds and generous spirits as these students are nurtured and supported over the coming 15 years at Trinity.

Children had the opportunity to seek and explore in the garden, playground, open plan learning rooms and wet areas. A highlight for lots of the children, was the outdoor dirt kitchen and cubby house with many creative ‘mud cakes’ on offer to those who were game.

For 2018, there are currently 46 three and four year olds enrolled, with a small number of places still available. As a school, we look forward to getting to know each of these children individually and nurturing them to grow and develop in heart, mind and spirit.
