Triumph at Royal Canberra Show

The Royal Canberra Show has come and gone for another year and entries from Trinity have once again made an impressive impact on the judges.

Food Studies:

Entries in this category comprised of: patty cakes, jams, bottled fruit, lemon butter and tomato relish.

The Food Studies students in Year 10 and 12 entered and they did astonishingly well.

Two of the entries awarded 2nd and 3rd place were bottled fruit that was entered in the Open category hence they were competing against experienced adult competitors.

  • 6 entries awarded 3rd place

Technology:

Entries in this category comprised of: wood and metal works. 

Only a small number of student work was entered but the results are commendable.

Textiles:

Entries in this category comprised of: crochet, marbling, bags, hand knitting, quilts, toys, dolls, cushion covers, appliqué place mats.

Trinity Christian School students have had the opportunity to have their God given talents and skills acknowledged and rewarded in an open independent forum.
