Vocational education and training (VET) enables students to learn practical workplace skills and technical knowledge.
The vocational education and training (VET) qualifications facilitated at Trinity are nationally recognised and can be completed in Years 10, 11 and 12. The qualifications can provide:
- Practical, workplace experience.
- Immediate employment prospects both locally and internationally.
- Prerequisites for entry into Diploma and Degree courses.
- The opportunity to sample particular vocations, before a student commits themselves in the workforce.
- The opportunity to develop employability skills, essential for the workplace.
VET Certificates
Trinity Christian School is able to deliver certain Vocational Education & Training (VET) Certificates. Trinity Christian School currently offers the following:
- SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality
- CH30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- SIS20419 Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation.
To register interest in these courses VET or for further information, students should contact the VET Coordinator or the subject teachers. Families can also find out more by reading the 2026 Year 11 and 12 Subject Selection Guide.
Please note: Students must be fully committed to any VET course in which they enrol. Trinity does not charge extra fees for Vocational courses, although if a student withdraws from the course, the course fees must be reimbursed by the parents/guardians to the School.
